The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Business Transformation: Enhancing Decision-Making, Operational Efficiency, and Customer Experience

Abstract | Business operations and entrepreneurship are being dramatically transformed by AI technology to increase user experiences, decision-making processes, and overall efficiency. This study is an overview of the many powerful capabilities of AI in various industries, trends in adoption, benefits, and challenges. A survey of over 300 business professionals and AI practitioners in different sectors and interviews were conducted using a mixed-methods approach. According to the study, AI is taking off, particularly in the finance and healthcare sectors, where predictive analytics and automation have made operations much more efficient. In fact, integrating AI was found to result in a 30% decrease in operational costs and 30% increase in customer retention, which showcases the significant contribution that AI has made to increasing competitiveness. Nonetheless, there are substantial challenges, including algorithmic bias, workforce displacement, and the lack of compliance with regulation. Ethical AI governance frameworks are suggested in the study to ensure the responsible use of AI technologies. To maintain consumer trust, businesses must prioritize AI decision-making transparency and compliance with data privacy regulations. Training programs can also assist workers in acquiring AI-related skills, aiding in their job reskilling and reducing the risk of displacement. By taking these steps, businesses can harness the potential of AI while mitigating the associated risks. |
