Phonon Dispersion Curves of Some Transition Metals

Abstract This study presents a comprehensive investigation of the phonon dispersion curves of some transition metals, including titanium (Ti), vanadium (V), chromium (Cr), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), and zinc (Zn). Using density functional theory (DFT) and the linear response method, we calculated the phonon dispersion curves and phonon density of states (PDOS) for these metals.
