Abstract | This case study examines how Regional Tourism Satellite Accounts (RTSA) insights have been utilized in formulating Andhra Pradesh's Tourism Policy 2025-29. Using RTSA 2015-16 data as a foundation, it analyses the alignment between evidence-based economic insights and strategic policy goals. The study identifies how RTSA can act as a catalyst for sustainable tourism development by informing policy decisions. It also highlights the gaps in leveraging RTSA data and offers recommendations for enhanced integration.
