Abstract | In this endeavor, the aim is to build an IoT-based robot that has video surveillance capabilities with the human control center being a web interface. The system had an ESP32 Module Was the main controlling unit and a Pi Camera together with an SD card as video source. Pi camera is used for taking live images, the sd card is used to save and transfer digital information. The system uses a power pack that has 12 volts and it is controlled with an LM2596 module. This LM2596 coverts the 12v to constant 5v. For the robot’s movements, control output is provided via an L293D motor driver interfaced with DC motors to achieve the circular motion. This web interface is exceptionally useful for military uses for example reconnaissance and surveillance where it would be dangerous for a person to enter a certain location |
