Abstract The food habits of Bodos are arguably rich and multifaceted which can be seen in their day-to-day socio-cultural life. They have rich cultural traditions of delicacies, recipes and cooking styles that flourished through generations handed down from their great-grandmothers. The present paper attempts to provide a short overview of food habits that still exist among rural Bodos.
