Abstract | Exploratory testing is a dynamic and essential approach for uncovering hidden bugs in software applications. Unlike traditional scripted testing, which follows predefined test cases, exploratory testing relies heavily on the tester’s creativity, intuition, and deep understanding of the system under test. This article delves into various techniques to enhance the effectiveness of exploratory testing, offering testers practical strategies to discover bugs more efficiently. By focusing on structured methods such as session-based testing, risk-based testing, and pair testing, testers can enhance their ability to identify critical issues. In addition, leveraging tools like mind mapping and boundary value analysis allows for a more comprehensive exploration of the application. These techniques contribute to improving software quality, fostering a more dynamic and targeted approach to bug discovery. Ultimately, this guide equips testers with the necessary tools to optimize their exploratory testing efforts and improve overall software reliability. |
